Nigel Brown – Senior Training & Development Consultant.
I have over 30 years of experience of working within local authority services, over the last 25 years I have provided training, development and consultancy services for several areas across children’s social care including fieldwork and residential services including (but not limited to) safeguarding, positive behaviour support and strength-based communication. I strive ensure that training meets the needs of my client group by gaining understanding of operations within an organisation prior to developing training interventions. My career has enabled me to become an experienced, well-seasoned all-rounder in training, workforce development, Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring.
Since joining AHLC, I work with the team and clients to identify workforce development interventions that are fit for purpose. It is imperative to offer a tailored bespoke training offer for clients in addition to generic training for organisations who are seeking to set up residential children’s homes.
