Marcel Reid – Children’s Home Consultant.
My name is Marcel Reid, and I have had the opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience working with complex Children and young people in different settings such as youth Hostels, Youth clubs and in the latter stages working for the past 27 years within children’s Residential settings which has been my chosen profession. I am Motivated and have a passion for working with children and young people with a goal to make a positive impact on the young people’s outcomes and futures.
Over the last 13 years I have gained vast knowledge and experience as a Dual Registered Manager over two homes which specialise working with young people with EBD for a Local Authority, managing 19 members of staff, supervising and overseeing the smooth running of the homes to ensure that they are OFSTED compliant and assuming full accountability for the home.
