I’ve spent 11+ years in digital marketing, most of that at a Nottingham agency working across everything from professional services and education to e-commerce. I planned campaigns, set the strategy, and—crucially—helped clients spend their budgets where it actually moved the needle. Sometimes that meant chasing lead volume; other times it was cost per acquisition, qualified enquiries, or just getting the right eyeballs. I’m happiest when I’m side-by-side with a videography team—writing tight briefs, sketching shot lists, and shaping edits so the final cut lands on social the way it should.

Now, as Digital Marketing Executive at AHLC (A.H. Lancer Consulting Ltd), I lead our digital strategy end-to-end. Day to day, that means content planning, SEO, and social that actually reflects who AHLC is—professional, values-driven, and practical. I try to balance reach with relevance; not every metric tells the whole story, and the best ideas usually come from testing small and scaling what sticks.

I work closely with the leadership team so marketing tracks with the bigger goals—spotlighting key services and joining the sector’s conversations around compliance, governance, and workforce development. Some weeks that looks like long-form explainers; other weeks it’s quick LinkedIn cuts or a thread that clarifies a thorny point. Either way, the aim is the same: be useful and be clear.
