I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children who have complex needs, learning difficulties, and EBD. These experiences have been built through over thirty-five years of working with children and their families and carers in various different roles. These roles have included; Residential Social Worker in children’s homes providing both long and short term care, Field Social Worker for Children Looked After, Management development Officer for the Local Authority training Managers in policy and law, Independent Reviewing Officer for looked after young people, Chief Executive for a children’s hospice, Executive Director for a Children’s homeless Charity, Service Manager for Central Children’s services, Regulatory Ofsted Inspector and a Regulatory 44 Inspector. From my previous experience, I gained an in-depth understanding of the unique needs of children in residential care settings. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and loving atmosphere that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of every child under my care.
I am a qualified Social Worker, and I am registered with Social Work England and committed to continual professional development. In addition, I undertook a Diploma in Management Studies.
